Jumble Trail is the online platform that provides everything you need for organising your own jumble sale and communicating with other users. When you use Jumble Trail, you are agreeing to our Privacy Policy which tells you how we use and look after the personal information that you give to us. Please read this carefully.

Our Privacy Policy does not cover any personal information that you choose to make publicly available, for example, by posting it on your Jumble Trail page or on our forums. This includes information such as email address, year of birth, gender, your location, your interests, UDID of your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, and Android device.

We may also record our communications with you. We also collect information about your activities on our Services. We use cookies to collect browsing information.

How will we use the information about you?
We use the information you give to us to make Jumble Trail a good experience for you. For instance, we may use your information to customise the Services you choose to receive, manage your account, improve our Services, record details about the Services you use, in order to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, for research, training and quality assurance purposes and, if you agree, to contact you about other Services and products from Jumble Trail that we think may be of interest to you.

We would like to send you information about Services of ours which may be of interest to you. If you don’t like this, we are happy to stop at any time. Just click on the “unsubscribe” link on our marketing emails. Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from receiving important service announcements as this is the only way we can communicate with you.

If you have given your consent to receiving marketing information from other companies outside Jumble Trail’s group of companies, you may withdraw your consent by writing to us at hello@jumbletrail.com / changing your settings in your Profile page.

Who will we disclose your personal information to?
Jumble Trail will not share your personal information for marketing purposes with companies outside the Jumble Trail group of companies, unless you have given us permission to do so. However, we may share your information in the following ways:

  • We may display your chosen user id, along with your activity levels on Jumble Trail, to friends whom you have connected with;
  • We may share your personal information with any member of our group of companies;
  • We may disclose your personal information to trusted partners who work with Jumble Trail under confidentiality agreements. However, these companies do not have any independent right to use or share this information;
  • We respond to legitimate requests by authorities with which we must legally comply, or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
  • Jumble Trail may display targeted advertisements based on anonymised information, personally identifiable information or information that you make publicly available. No personally identifiable information will be provided to the advertiser directly by Jumble Trail when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad; and
  • If there is a change in the ownership of Jumble Trail or any of its assets, we may disclose personal information to the new or prospective owner. If we do so, we will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Accessing or changing your personal information
If you’d like to see, or change, your personal information just go to your “My Profile” tab and view the profile information that you have provided. Please note that certain information cannot be changed once you have entered it. For instance, there should be no reason for a user to change their year of birth. This is to discourage users from engaging in unlawful activities.

How long do we keep your data for? How can I delete it?
Your personal information is kept for as long as Jumble Trail is a going concern. If you wish to delete your account and all the information we hold on you, you may do so by pressing the “Delete Account” button.

After your account is deleted, we may retain certain data in an anonymised format, which means that you can no longer be identified by this data.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files that we place on your device to allow us to customise content for your repeat use of our Services and to collect standard user behaviour information. Cookies help us to understand how people use Jumble Trail by tracking use of our Services.
